He was a little bit older and I am its victim and told him get up and get out of here. You don't need to be sleeping here. And don't know where the brick came from a hole through it or why they threw it and the guy just left and ambulance came and got him. Never heard anything else from that. Situation now that that story, let me quit, go reminder Chief and Dave you're on the air so we can hear everything you're saying but let me quick. Say one thing. You know for many of you all who read in the newspaper about the orchestra last night performing this right here that the story Eduardo's telling us is a story, you have not heard anywhere else and is a story. And it's my responsibility to take care of the people that come over there. Me and Dave, Dave brings in the Would you bring in late clothing? Yeah, I'll bring in canned goods. Sometimes medicines, you know such as aspirins or cold medicines or something like that. Nothing really too serious. But the fact of the matter is the person was sleeping on Public Square right before the show. Right before they started setting up for the show. So we really we really don't want to necessarily blame the people who were setting up, but we do want to make sure everyone realizes who is out there on on last night, enjoying the orchestra that to nice before everyone was out there. Enjoying that music performance. Someone was hit in the head by a brick who was homeless, and this is an ongoing thing, hate crimes that are going up against people who are living on the streets across the country. Country. So that's basically the point we were trying to make. And, you know, there's a lot of homeless Brothers out here that don't want to really say anything to the to the ranking officials out there or say anything, you know, so are there scared to get help from somebody out there? And that's why the brother, you know, I seen the brother when he got hit and the guys just got an ambulance, didn't give me his name or any information because I do work with That get arrested and people that get hit and and we have an organization that worked with hate crimes and people to get harassed on the streets by the Cleveland Police and stuff. So the brother didn't want to get into evolved into that. He just went to the hospital and got his self taken care of. And that was all, it was heard about that. And we just like to let people know that there is still hate crimes and we would like to know how we can go about trying to stop this because me myself, I'm home. - and I stay on 21st Superior and we get bomb with bottles every night at the same time, two o'clock, every morning. People just come by there and throw bottles at us and cussing us out and and we don't know who they are. Voucher and clothes voucher and put me up in a hotel and towed my car for free of charge. We're here in Cleveland. They don't have any thing like that here in Cleveland, and that was a small City. And then also visit Lorene, Ohio, and they offered to put me in a home with no money. No, nothing nowhere to go. They offered to put me in and, and housing there. And I just like to ask why these small cities. Have more to offer than the big cities. Like Cleveland is a big city. And here's these drawings build Lorraine Akron, you know, I just took a young lady down there in Akron, and she got put into a shelter, quick and wasn't turned away, and possibly in housing by now, you know, because he's small cities have more fundings for people than big cities, like Cleveland. I've been in the Cleveland New York and Chicago and Don't have much to offer for homeless people, you know, but these small cities have more to offer to homeless people than the big sitting with. So you're basically putting within this system of work or the cycle of work that's available to you. You're putting a cycle where you can't even create any kind of savings or get yourself a place to stay, right? You know, I can't I'm not able to save no. Because, you know, eating wise, you know, you now these days you got to spend like five ten dollars. Just just to eat. I mean at restaurants, you know, or even stored. Now, you know, they charge like $2. Just want a hot dog. One hot dog. A dollar for a pop, you know? Sure. And so, the reality, the reality, in some ways is the the community you chief. If Dave have all worked to build up, which I should let people know as labor or maybe, you know, you're calling or career or whatever you want to call. It is in many ways to provide an alternative means of survival outside of this situation where you get in this Perpetual work cycle where you don't get paid enough and you know, there's countless people who end up living in the shelters. I've already put in an appeal about being kicked out of the homeless Gathering Place, which is the homeless gathering places for mental patients, that have mental illness and they're at Gathering Place, they feed you, you can take showers and get cleaned up, and they do a lot of outings and they help you. Yeah, situate yourself grow. Yeah, their government funded through the government and they get funding to, from the government for the Patients that are are the homeless people that come there. They're located, 20 to 19, 20, 20, s, and Payne Avenue. Got a free clinic there and you got to see the doctor.
