American University Archives & Special Collections office is located in the AU Spring Valley Building in Suite 204/205 on the 2nd floor, at 4801 Massachusetts Ave. about 1 mile from the main campus. For information about getting to the AU Archives & Special Collections, parking, etc., please refer to this University Library FAQ. 

We are open for researcher visits by appointment only Monday-Thursday 10am-4pm. All students, visitors, instructors, and researchers must contact Archives & Special Collections to schedule an appointment at least 24 hours prior to the requested time. We will do our best to find a time that works with all schedules for your visit.
