And we're interested in humanities, labor, things affecting humans. And we are asking everyone this question. And I'll get right to it. Everyone has something they that they have worked on in their life. What is something that you have worked on that you believe is valuable that you have contributed to and can share with others. Okay? When thinking about the work you have done in your life thus far, What are you proud of? What can you point to?

Well, I can absolutely point to Working in DC, this project here that is about arts and civic engagement in our community. Bringing the arts to all of us. I'm the kind of person that feels proud of most projects that I do. I can be sort of changeable in the things that I do and dedicating and giving my all to something always makes me proud of it. So exactly what do you to? That is hard to say. I'm an artist. I'm an arts worker. I am an arts leader, I believe in arts and culture, and arts and humanities for all for all of us for the community. I believe it belongs to the people and I'm into sharing that, sharing that with everybody. Yeah. So if you could pick one particular task or experience, in doing what you do, in your life's work, is it possible to pinpoint just one? Or one particular experience, let's say, that you could just speak about. Because you're very proud of you work, and I can see why.

It's so funny because when you ask that question, actually, the thing I think about is my family like our family's pretty happy, our family's pretty honest. Our family's pretty open, and that's not something that's necessarily directly associated with the labor that I do, but it's still part of my life's work. And I'm always proud of that. And that everything else I do in the world out in the world also contributes to my family and who we are. Yeah. A lot of people say that about their family. Do they? Yeah. You have to put a lot of work into your family. So that's a wonderful answer.

Yeah, you're right though that going to work and creating in the world—the things that we think are important is also part of creating a great family, a great community, wider community, not just family. All of us. And the amazing thing is being able to contribute to your family, that's if you have children, and you put that into them. And they put that into what they do. And they begin the foundation for generations to come and just as you have. And the way it should work is that ultimately we affect our families, our communities, our country, and then the world. Yes. Yes, I agree. But it's one person connecting to one person that also makes that happen. And to realize that as a person we're all intertwined.

Yes, we're all connected. To realize that we all bleed, and we love, and we care. Yes, and what one of us does affects other people. You can't imagine what I feel every time I see pain, another's pain. I've always been like that.

Yeah, empathy. It should be everybody's favorite word. We're at a point in humanity where people have to realize that we're all God's people. Yes. We have to realize that and try to bring that together. And exemplify it in our actions, that way we can stop hunger. It's a human hunger, it's everybody's problem.

Yes, it's a shared problem and it can only be a shared solution. And we have enough resources in this country to help the whole world. I believe we are fortunate enough to be able to [unintelligible]. And we got to realize that. We should want this to work the best for everybody. Yeah. And also that when you have, when your life is better, my life is better. When my life is better, your life is better. Yeah, that's true. It's been a real treat talking to you. Just meeting you.
