Humanities Truck Community Archive

The Humanities Truck team participated in the 16th annual Columbia Heights Day on June 15th, 2024. The team conducted interviews with event attendees and community residents and organized a mapping exhibit on the side of the truck. During the mapping activity, participants were prompted to share and pin locations within the Columbia Heights neighborhood that held meaning for them on a large map.This digital collection includes photographs from the event, digital copies of prompt cards and the mapping activity, video oral history interviews, and digitized interview transcripts.
